Productive projects

Since the establishment of the shelter for battered women in 1999, and since most abused women lack financial and economic independence, and the absence of social and economic protection for this category, we have decided to use programs capable of rehabilitating women residing in the shelter or reviewing the legal, social and psychological counseling program. These programs aim to:

1- Training women in a profession that qualifies them to enter the labor market.

2- Inclusion of battered women through training programs.

3- Get a financial return.

Programs prepared for this purpose:

1- The productive kitchen: It is the kitchen that was opened in order to provide food necessities for the women residing in the shelter and their children, and it provides meals for the women.

Kitchen Objectives:

Providing food for residents.

Training those you want from them on the basics of cooking and in the right ways.

- Providing job opportunities for these women inside the kitchen temporarily.

2- Beauty salon:

It is one of the rehabilitation programs and psychological and material support for the women residing in the shelter or reviewing the counseling program. It also attracts girls who have dropped out of school in order to train them and try to return them to study seats.

Beauty salon goals:

- The program trains women wishing to obtain this profession.

- During the training, the woman receives awareness lectures about her rights.

- The program seeks to provide job opportunities for women after training.

- The program provides its services to members of the Jordanian Women's Union, in addition to female employees with a symbolic wage that contributes to supporting the program and its continuity.

 3- Tailoring and Heritage Center:
